What’s New in RadCalc v7.4.1?
The latest update brings exciting new capabilities and refinements to the RadCalc platform. 3D dose calculations for electrons are now supported using the new fast Monte Carlo algorithm. These enhancements incorporate advanced features that are seamlessly integrated into the RadCalc Portal. Photon dose calculations with the new fast Monte Carlo algorithms are also introduced for C-arm linacs and Halcyon systems. Enhancements to the RadCalc Portal now include multilingual functionality in English and French. The RadCalc Services Manager offers streamlined installation, making it easier for IT teams to deploy and maintain. This core tool supports the RadCalc Portal, RadCalcAIR, and Queue workflows, ensuring seamless integration and optimized functionality across the system.
To increase the customization of RadCalc Delivery QA workflows, new automation rules have been introduced to make them more flexible. These rules enable the distinction between “in-air” and “in-vivo” EPID calculations and allow filtering by treatment planning protocols (TPPs). The enhanced rules also support the automated selection of algorithms, calculation parameters, and gamma criteria. Additionally, users can tailor 3D dose displays by hiding point dose information when only Gamma Analysis, DVH, and 3D dose point comparisons are required.
